My Friend, Lee Casey starts his new art business

My good friend, Lee Casey and helper at the studio is going into business for himself building and stretching canvases as well as matting and other essential art needs. Lee builds all my stretchers. His workmanship and prices can’t be beat. So all my artist painter friends give him a shout and see what he can do for you, 740-586-9340. Leave a message and he’ll get back with you.

FRESH PEACHES FROM THE STUDIO GARDEN

When we moved from the farm to downtown Zanesville, we brought two of our peach trees. Thanks to John Armstrong our neighbor and good friend who had propagated the trees. Last night we started our freezing what we were not eating.

These trees are a part of our studio gardens. I’m reminded that Monet was to have said something like he was unable to do much in life, but he could paint and garden. Kathy’s gardens are a delight to everyone.
