We are closed so that we can get ready for the ZANESVILLE PRIZE FOR CONTEMPORARY CERAMICS which opens October 7th.
Please attend Pryroteniks at the Freight Station with Stoey Stout. It is quite a show. The main show starts at 8:30.
And before the show take a look at all the other galleries. Yan Museum is having a book signing.
When we moved from the farm to downtown Zanesville, we brought two of our peach trees. Thanks to John Armstrong our neighbor and good friend who had propagated the trees. Last night we started our freezing what we were not eating.
These trees are a part of our studio gardens. I’m reminded that Monet was to have said something like he was unable to do much in life, but he could paint and garden. Kathy’s gardens are a delight to everyone.
Check out Debbie at Fringe, she does a marvelous job with the my hair which is impossible.
You’re invited to an opening in the downtown!! Our artists in residence have an installation in the alley behind Yan Sun Museum just off of 6th Street on Friday at 6 pm. Go to the Y-Bridge Arts Festival, then come by and see an incredible transformation of the worst alley in the downtown.
We had quite a good discussion this evening at the gallery regarding how we as artists make creative space in our lives and community. and what are the implications for all of us. Shannon Kim was the moderator. This was part of our on going artist in residence program this summer.
